The Friends of Singapore (Business) (FOS) Award was elevated this year from the Business Friends of Singapore Award which was inaugurated by EDB in 2000. This award recognises managers of influence and the recipients are chosen because they have contributed significantly to the economic growth of Singapore and have promoted Singapore's interest beyond the company context.
