Welcome to Inside EDB, where we give you a good idea of what it's like to be a part of Singapore’s lead economic promotion agency. EDB is responsible for the planning and execution of economic strategies to sustain Singapore as a compelling global hub for business and investment.
Since 1961, EDB has worked to attract and facilitate inward foreign investments into Singapore. For the last four decades, we have worked closely with local and foreign companies across a diverse range of industries in both the manufacturing and service sectors. EDB continues to help client companies move towards higher value-creating operations in a knowledge-based and innovation-driven environment. We encourage companies to use Singapore as a manufacturing, research, headquarters and total business centre for their global or Asia Pacific operations.
EDB also acts as catalyst and facilitator to nurture a vibrant, self-sustaining enterprise ecosystem, a conducive total environment for entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes.
