Japan-based Waseda University's Waseda Business School announced plans to offer a Double Masters Programme in Management of Technology in partnership with Nanyang Technological University's Nanyang Business School. The programme leverages on the strengths of these two institutions in management education and offers students access to practical knowledge and initiatives of world-class Japanese manufacturing and quality management enterprises. This collaboration marks the entry of the first Japanese university into Singapore, joining a vibrant education ecosystem of leading universities from Europe, USA and Asia Pacific.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay plans to offer a joint engineering graduate degree programme with the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Engineering, in line with Singapore's focus on Asian educational institutions. This degree programme in advanced engineering materials aims to produce professionals needed in key areas of wafer fabrication and data storage, chemical processing, aerospace and automotive development, bio-engineering, and energy and construction. IIT Bombay is one of seven higher institutes of technology and academic excellence in India.
