National Day Rally 2010: "LIVE" in the palm of your hand

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver his National Day Rally speech on Sunday, 29 August 2010 from 6.45pm (GMT 10.45am, EDT 6:45am, PDT 3:45am, AEDT 8:45am). He will be speaking as follows:


6.45 pm    Malay & Mandarin
7.30 pm    Intermission
8.00 pm    English


The rally will be broadcast "live" on local television channels and radio stations from the University Cultural Centre at the National University of Singapore. For those who are unable to catch the broadcast, here are some ways to view or participate in the rally:

 

(1) Webcast on smartphones: For the first time, the rally will be available in the palm of your hand. Simply go to www.ndr.sg on your smartphones' web browser and catch the rally on the go.


(2) Webcast on computers: You can watch the "live" webcast of the rally on the websites of the Prime Minister's Office (www.pmo.gov.sg) or REACH (www.reach.gov.sg/ndrsg).


(3) Online discussions: Netizens can give their feedback and discuss the key issues on REACH website while PM Lee delivers his speech


(4) Twitter: Share your thoughts using the tag #ndrsg or follow tweets from twitter.com/Reach_Singapore.


(5) Facebook: Join the event page (www.facebook.com/REACHSingapore) set up by REACH to indicate that you will be watching the rally.


(6) YouTube: Highlights of PM Lee's speech will be available on the Prime Minister's Office YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/pmosingapore) from 30 August 2010.


(7) Video-on-demand: Videos of the rally can be viewed on the Prime Minister's Office website (www.pmo.gov.sg) from 30 August 2010.
