Halliburton officially opens its advanced manufacturing and technology centre on 30 October 2008. The establishment of this world-class facility affirms the significance of Singapore's
oil and gas industry and how it is becoming more knowledge and innovation intensive, with companies leveraging our strengths in technology and our highly-skilled workforce to undertake complex and high precision manufacturing.

The centre is Singapore’s first foray into the manufacture of oil and gas tools made up of both high-performance mechanical as well as electronic systems, which are able to withstand extremely harsh conditions underground. The Centre will also be Halliburton’s first such facility outside of the United States that is able to manufacture these sophisticated tools.
