Sony announced the establishment of its only other corporate university outside of Japan in Singapore, to train its next generation leaders for the AMEA region. This is significant as Singapore will be Sony's only other location to train and develop the company's global senior management leaders. Sony's first corporate university outside of its Japan headquarters will groom global leaders to lead Sony's growth in Asia and beyond. It is also significant for the EDB as it is a testament to our strategy to position Singapore as a Global-Asia talent hub for companies to access, develop and deploy global leaders with pan-Asian perspectives.
