01 Oct 2002

Better to serve its clients in the region

ESI's Singapore office will deliver management training programmes to clients in the region.

ESI International, the world's leading provider of project management training, recently opened its first office in the Asia-Pacific region in Singapore.

The Singapore office will deliver ESI's project management training programmes to corporations and public-sector agencies in Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand and Indonesia. It will also enable ESI to better serve its existing and potential clients in the region.

ESI's courses covering state-of-the-art management techniques will enable companies to realise greatly improved business performance and success.

As organisations work to maximise the value of scarce human and financial resources, effective project management will enable these organisations to bring their projects to completion on time and within budget, thus delivering customer's satisfaction.

"ESI International sees the growing and prosperous Asia-Pacific market as an ideal area in which to expand our proven training and consulting services," said ESI President, Mr Larry Seeley.

"Our extensive course offerings, our ability to tailor programs to meet our clients' needs and our 20 years of experience in global markets, give us a competitive edge in providing project management training to organizations in this part of the world."

Agreeing, EDB Chairman, Mr Teo Ming Kian, said that in an innovationdriven economy, technical skills were no longer sufficient and other skills such as project management, strategic marketing and branding expertise were needed to create the differentiation and competitive edge.

"These will help generate greater returns for businesses. We are pleased that ESI has established its first Asia- Pacific office here to meet to the needs of companies in the region." Mr Teo said.
