Platform to discuss human capital management

The CEO Academy Series has been launched to raise awareness of developments in human capital and talent retention and to share best practices among CEOs of companies based in Singapore.
A key focus of the series is the linking of HR practices and corporate strategies to achieve a good fit between the competencies of employees and corporate results. This is especially relevant in today's business environment where the key challenge for corporations is the ability to attract, retain, develop and manage talent.
The CEO academy series is jointly organised by EDB, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in Singapore and Mercer Human Resource Consulting and Development Dimensions International. Six global thought leaders in human capital management will speak over a sixmonth period. These include Dana Rahbar-Daniels, Asia Practice leader for Mercer's Talent Management Consulting and Robert Fogel, Chicago GSB's Nobel Laureate in Economics.
Mr Chua Taik Him, EDB Assistant Managing Director, said: "We are glad that today, HR experts, strategists and corporate leaders are getting together to share their knowledge and experience."
