Kim Slicklein
President
An innovator in developing sustainability solutions, veteran marketing executive and social entrepreneur Kim Slicklein leads OgilvyEarth as President of its integrated global sustainability practice. Before joining OgilvyEarth Ms. Slicklein led the sustainability and CSR initiatives at Droga5, including the launch of 'WindMade' at the Davos World Economic Forum alongside the United Nations Global Compact, The World Wildlife Federation, The Global Wind Energy Council, PWC, Vestas, Lego and Bloomberg. Prior to that she spent 6-years building Enclave Rising, an international portfolio of companies rooted in environmental and social consciousness, each dedicated to developing and pioneering best practices in sustainability. Enclave Rising includes the world's first fully sustainable development company and it's flagship venture, Ethos Resorts & Spas, combines the highest tenets of sustainability with five star luxury. Slicklein also pioneered corporate social responsibility through the Enclave Rising Foundation, a private operating foundation with 501(c) 3 status where she and her team crafted and carried out programs within the local communities of all Enclave Rising ventures. The Foundation ran tailor-made programs focused on area-specific education, conservation, alternative energy, public-private partnerships, and genuine sustainability initiatives. Prior to Enclave Rising, Slicklein spent more than a decade leading new product innovation, brand strategy, project management, and big picture thinking for international blue chip companies. During her tenure as a senior level marketing and brand consultant, Slicklein partnered with CEO's and senior corporate management to help redirect and/or reposition companies, brands, and products. Her experience includes work with some of the world's most recognizable global brands including: Apple Computer (launched iMac and iPod); Evian (global relaunch); Coca-Cola; Reebok (launched RBK); Davidoff; Pepsi-Cola; Skin Cancer Foundation; Schering Plough (Coppertone, Bain de Soleil); Daimler Chrysler; Infiniti / Nissan; Isuzu; M&M Mars (launched 5 global products); Hershey Chocolate USA (launched 3 global products); and Wrigley's. Slicklein is the Chair, National Consensus Deepest Shade of Green Committee, serves on the Advisory Board for Womensphere, serves on the Advisory Board as a Member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council for The United Nations Foundation, and is a member of the Sustainability Committee for NEWH. She is a frequent presenter and panel participant at real estate development, hospitality, environmental, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurial, educational, and women's leadership conferences.
